I have been creating these fun short advertising spots on social media to raise awareness of my latest book, Leaving Cleveland. Sooo I just experienced speed dating for Authors. To launch a book tour, all authors Zoom a 2-minute pitch about their book to about 240 organizations around the country… now I know why a lot of authors drink… Since the pecking order is based on the spelling of your last name, I was 1 of about 35 authors.. all that said, I watched the other brave authors give their 2-minute pitches and was in awe of the talent.. of a writer who translated Kafka’s private letters to English to an author who wrote a book on being Burlesque dancer in Coney Island.. the thread was the Jewish experience.. this event was put on by Jewish Book Council.
I think I’ll crawl into bed now…

Summer Reading Time
As promised here is Part 2. The reason they are only 1 minute long is because I post this on social media and Instagram only allows for 1 minute….That said I will make 2 versions the next time, and Part 3 will be longer…Let me know what you think…I am new to all this stuff and would appreciate your input ..

I have been getting some great images from my readers. I put out a request to my readers to do a selfie or photograph my book Leaving Cleveland wherever they bring the book. The response has come from Idaho; Texas; NYC; Florida, Colorado; Ohio and just recently Italy. I would love to see more and am hoping to have each State in the US to be represented. So if you have my book, photograph it where you live or visit and send it to me. Here are some of the images that have been taken so far.
